The usual language of productivity treats structure as an unfortunate necessity. I find the opposite more useful. A carefully chosen constraint can create freedom by removing the noise of repeated low-value decisions.
This is why I care about systems more than hacks. A good routine, dashboard, or interface is not a cage. It is a local constitution that protects attention from unnecessary entropy.
